Michelle Stitzlein offers workshops, demonstrations and lectures for children and/or adults about creating sculpture from plastic bottlecaps and other recycled materials. Each event is catered specifically
to the needs of the venue and occasion.
Examples of the classes/projects offered:
• interactive bottlecap murals
• Earth Day residencies
• bottlecap flower refrigerator magnets
• elementary school outdoor bottlecap/bottletop flower installations
• adult workshops utilizing metal/found objects
Lectures include a discussion about Michelle's inspirations, images of her work, her travels and her collection of art made from recycled materials from Guatemala, Mexico, South Africa, Peru, Colombia and Namibia.
New how-to book! Michelle's new book "Bottlecap little Bottlecap" about recycled art projects for children utilizing plastic bottlecaps/bottletops. This is a great resource for teachers, parents, and "green" artists!
